OUR COMMENTS: 24/7 Casino...and that is almost all the good I can say about this casino. The RV park consists of 10 rough CONCRETE pad sites. The sites were free until July 09 and now the casino is charging for these 10 sites $15.00. I must add that 4 of the sites appear to be full time residents with trash and junk around them. Now for the Casino, it is the only casino I have been asked not to bring my lap top in to write my report. So, I sat in the car at 98 degrees a real pleasure and wrote this report. The staff was less than helpful in all areas of the casino. It was difficult to speak to the staff as most of them only spoke Spanish or couldn't communicate well in English. We know we are only 1000 ft. from Mexico but it would help to have English speaking and undeerstanding staff. Dining, was OK at the buffet but not great and the bar cafe well, we didn't try. The nearest RV Park worth staying in is 100+ miles away in San Antonio, so I think unless things change considerably this is a casino that you could miss and not notice the loss. Mary did find a few machines that she enjoyed and frankly made a few dollars so the trip was not a total waste. One additional NOTE: The web site has very little information and the 800 number leads to a strange call.....be very careful.

OUR COMMENTS: THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL CAMP SITE ON THE GALVESTON ISLAND.... The 50 space Jamaica Beach RV Park has all we need as travelers and much much more..... The family that owns and operates is friendly and happy to help with any questions. The pool and children play area are great if you are traveling with young children. OH, the Beach is just over the street and a short walk. About 11 miles to great shopping and dining.
